BBC Children in Need - Celebrity Scissorhands
www.onlineseniordates.com has been contacted by the makers of the BBC Celebrity Scissorhands programme. Following the success of the last series, Celebrity Scissorhands is returning and the Academy doors will open later this year as part of BBC Children In Need.
Last year Celebrity Scissorhands was a real success, and raised a significant amount of money for a hugely deserving cause.
The Celebrity Scissorhands team of celebrities will be trained in the bespoke hair & beauty Academy by award winning celebrity hairdresser, Lee Stafford, who manages the Academy as if it were a real, working salon. Throughout the 3-week series, the celebrity trainees will learn new skills in order to pamper, preen, groom, makeover, trim and restyle members of the public and celebrity clients all in aid of BBC Children In Need.
This year they are offering customers the chance to receive a makeover.
This would be a great opportunity for someone on the dating scene to update or change their image before that initial first date! They are also specifically looking for people (aged 60+) who would be interested in going on a blind date this Thursday 6th November after a trip to the academy for a hair cut or makeover.
If you would like to find out more about the show then please go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/scissorhands/ and if you are interested in coming down to the academy (especially for the blind date this Thursday 6th November) please contact me directly on [email protected]
